Welford Alexander

“Peter” Welford Alexander was born on July 7th, 1958. He departed this earth on September 10, 2025.

Peter graduated Maggie L. Walker, where he was a member of the football team. Peter’s favorite team was the Washington Redskins. Peter also to cook and participated in several food festivals including the historic 2nd Street Festival and Browns Island showcasing his cooking skills. Peter was a plumber by trade and loved to dance.

He is embraced in Heaven by his father, Welford, and two of his sisters, Faye and Cherry.  

He leaves behind his two children, Ebony and Isaiah; mother, Leola; sisters, Bunnie, Gale, Chantay and Dale; two brothers, Paul and Mark; aunts, Gurtrude and Maude, and a slew of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5004 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA.
