Vernon Scroggins, Jr.

Vernon Scroggins, Jr., age 70, of Richmond, VA departed this life on June 25, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda (Judy) Scroggins; one daughter, Temica Johnson (Joseph); two grandchildren, Alexis and Alex Scroggins; three sisters, Carolyn Pleasants, Lynn Baskerfield (Erwin), and Charlene Bates (Thomas); two brothers, Tony and Victor Scroggins; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; other relatives, and long time friends, Warren Mitchell and Anthony Holmes. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. 

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
