Tyrone V. "Pep" Griffin

Tyrone Van Griffin, age 73, of Richmond, VA departed this life May 24, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted family, daughters, LaShanda Griffin, Tyon Jenkins, Ieshia Jenkins, and Tyrena Hudson; sister, Sheila Muse (Clif); brothers, Walter Griffin (Toni) and Leonard Wilkes (Debra); 13 grandchildren, Kanise, Kydasia, Nautica, Nikiyah, Pierre, Ali'El, Damayah, Jamareyah, Yahzara, Anthony, Tiyona, Tona, and Tiana; and four great-grands, Kasen, Koir, Parker Li and Royalty; as well as a very devoted friend, Lillian Thorpe.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery, 3101 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA . There will be no viewing.

The family has entrusted services of comfort to Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5004 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA.
