Timothy L. Jones

Timothy L. Jones, affectionately known as "Timm" departed this life on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He was born in Richmond, VA on July 19, 1972.

Timm was a loving and caring person. He had many talents, and if you asked he could fix it, paint it, or maybe even build it. He loved football and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He also loved to cook and had a strong outlook on the future.

Preceding him in death is one son, Aaren S. Jones; father, David L. Jones; mother, Nora M. Jones; brothers, Wayne L. Jones, William R. Jones, David Jr. Jones, Edward H. Jones; and sister, Melanie D. Jones.

Timm leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brandy Shakespeare; son, Jamal Shakespeare-Jones; a stepdaughter, Taniya Shakespeare; two stepsons, Brandon and Nathan Shakespeare; two brothers, Kenneth L. Jones (Mae) and his twin, Tony A. Jones; three sisters, Brenda Jackson (Cecil), Marci Lewis (Nick), and Helen Jones; two grandchildren, Iyana and Kemaura Shakespeare; one uncle, Fred Winn; one aunt, Alberta Horton, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service Chapel, 5004 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA.
