Samuel Johnson, Jr. Obituary

Samuel Johnson, Jr., age 55, of Richmond, VA departed this life March 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Junior Johnson.

Sam would always remind people that God is love. He could often be heard saying, "God got me!" He always greeted women he met, "How are you doing Queen."

He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Jawon Trent; grandchildren; mother, Mary A. Jones; four sisters, Mary Ann Johnson, Betty Jean Richardson (Major), Chantell Johnson-Pringle (Moss), and Inita Johnson (Ray); two brothers, Leroy Habibilah and Earl S. Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

The family has entrusted final arrangements to Wilson & Associates Funeral Service - South Chapel, 1215 Richmond Highway, Richmond, VA.
