Ricardo S. Allen, Sr.

Mr. Ricardo S. Allen, Sr., 69, transitioned to eternal rest Sunday, February 9, 2025. Ricardo was born in Richmond, Virginia on August 27, 1955 to the late Ms. Eva I. Allen.

Ricardo accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Richmond, VA and was educated in the Richmond Public School System, as well as earning several degrees from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Ricardo also served in the United States Navy, the United States Army, and the United States Army Reserves. For over 40 years Ricardo worked as an Automobile Consultant, Real Estate Agent, and Photographer/Videographer.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his loving mother, Eva I. Allen; two brothers, Benjamin D. Allen, Sr., and Kenneth L. Allen; sister, Crystal T. Allen; and a devoted great-aunt, Ethel Smith.

Ricardo leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Marsha; daughters, Nichelle and Christina; son, Ricardo S. Allen, Jr.; two granddaughters, Cali and Lila; stepdaughters, Paige and Krystina; two step granddaughters, two step grandsons, a devoted sister, Daryl J. Allen; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA, where a funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025.
