Paul W. Clarke Obituary

A Time to Be Born…

Paul Wilfred Clarke, also known as “Our Superman,” was born March 12, 1971 in Bronx, New York to the late Augustine Clarke and Beverly Johnson.

A Time to Learn…

Paul attended Herbert H. Lehman High School and graduated in 1990.  He attended Bronx Community College majoring in Liberal Arts from September 1990 until June 1992.

A Time to Love…

Paul showed love to all in many ways. His biggest accomplishment was the birth and rearing of his children.  He was a devoted father. His four children were his pride and joy.  He would do absolutely anything for them. If they wanted or needed it, he did his best to try to make it happen. Paul was a soft-spoken man. He had patience to the core and was very reserved.  He was a staple in the community and a great mentor to many of the young people and friends to his children he was “Daddy Paul” or “Uncle Paul”.  He showed love to each person that he came encountered with.

A Time to work…

Paul was a dedicated worker for Stryker for 12 years where he was a Field Technician.  He took pride in delivering medical supplies and equipment to different facilities in Virginia.

A Time to enjoy life…

Paul hobbies included golf, watching movies, eating various foods, and driving as he was a “Superb Driver” and as some would say, “A Navigator of the Road”.  His love for sports was shown daily as he had a special team for each sport.

NFL Football – New York Jets, Baseball – New York Yankees, College Football – Florida State and NBA Basketball – New York Knicks.  He would watch sports all day long if he could.

A Time to be remembered…

Paul was a dedicated member of Hope Christian Ministries for over 15 plus years.  He served as Apostle Amour Bearer for 5 years and on the Ushers Ministry.  As we all will miss him, he is smiling and rejoicing in heaven with the loved ones that preceded him in death. His father, Augustine Clarke, Brother Steven Graham, Sr and one of his pride and joy, Son Christian Paul Clarke.

He is survived by his devoted and loving children, Kobe (Mariah) & Kirsten Clarke and Quira Joyner; the love of his life and mother of his children, Dion Clarke; mother, Beverly Johnson of Tallahassee FL; a host of nieces and two devoted nephews, Steven Graham (Billy Jean) of Bronx, NY and Quinton (Danielle) Graham of San Antonio, TX; “Brother from another mother”-Danny Bonilla of Coney Island, NY; godchildren Leah Wallace and Capri Leiana Kong; father in law, Wallace (Linda) Joyner of Queens, New York,  host of loving relatives and friends, devoted among them Walter & Michelle Reyes, Vincent Brown, Frankie Martucci, Chanthorn Kong and Kevin Hunter
