Loretta J. Lightfoot

Loretta Lightfoot received her wings on February 21, 2021 at the age of 58.

Loretta was born to Dorothy Jean and Daniel L. Lightfoot, Sr., on May 9, 1962 at Richmond Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.  She was the second youngest of her five siblings.

She graduated from George Wythe High School, where she was a proud member of the GWHS Pep Squad!  She later went on to J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and received her associates degree as a Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA).

Loretta was a dedicated and loving mother to her daughter Brianna.

She was also a member of First Baptist Church.  Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Loretta joins her parents, Daniel, Sr., and Dorothy Jean, her sister, Francella, and her devoted friend, Roberto Jesus in Heaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Brianna; sisters, Zenia and Pam; brother, Daniel (Lynette); nieces, Chelsea, Tamarra, Danielle; great nephew, Marquis, Jr., and a host of cousins and extended family.

Exodus 23:20, "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared."

Services will be private.

The family has entrusted final arrangements to Wilson & Associates Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA.
