Ladeana Sherri Brown was born September 24, 1975, in Richmond, Virginia. She was a kind, loving, bubbly, outgoing person and was very family-oriented.
Ladeana attended Richmond Public Schools, Chesterfield Public Schools, and graduated from Monacan High School. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University for 3 years. Ladeana previously worked for Clean Earth, inspecting computers for resale. She attended various churches and believed in God. Her hobbies included: poetry, art, dancing, and singing.
Ladeana was preceded in death by her brother, Gervelle D. Brown, cousins, LaTonya M. Phillips, and Curtis Phillips; 3 uncles, Earnest Boswell, Eddie Phillips, and Earl Brown, and her grandmother, Lillie M. Phillips. She is survived by her parents: Gerald & Gloria Brown; brothers, Gerald Brown, Jr., Germaune Brown, and Gerald K. Brown; sisters: Ann Caddell, Lashella Weatherless, Kaynise Marks, and Ebony Beale; daughters: Kierra Brown-Harris, and Keonya Brown-Knight; son, Terrelle Brown Knight; grandson, Que Angelo Brown-Johnson; granddaughter, Amirra Brown-Johnson; and a host of family and friends.
LaDeana lived one-half of a century, and made a lasting impact on her family, friends, and acquaintances. God took her home on December 25, 2025, where she is now in His loving and compassionate care. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2025 at Woodville Church of the Nazarene, 2012 Selden Street Richmond, VA, with a viewing beginning at 1 p.m.
An interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family has entrusted final arrangements to Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5004 Nine Mile Road, Richmond, VA.
