Eva M. Turner Marrow

Eva Mae (Turner) Marrow, was born on July 11, 1945 and called to rest on June 26, 2024. She is survived by her two daughters, Dominique Wimbush Cooper (Henry L Cooper), and Jamai Lewis, two grandsons, Davon Wimbush and Luke Dove and two great-granddaughters Nia Wimbush and Messiah Wimbush. Eva Mae was also survived by one sister Mamie Marion Holmes and one brother Kenneth Lee Turner. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and one bonus son Melvin Rose.

Eva Mae found joy in making others laugh and was often referred to as "That's a funny lady".  Even in her last hours, her quick wit and genuine kindness brightened the lives of all that she encountered.  Eva Mae could sport a hat! Whether cocked to the side with a cashmere coat or easy breezy with some leggings and crocs, she had a hat for every occasion.  She loved to study her bible and "getting into the word" with family and friends. She enjoyed gathering with loved ones over seafood feasts, crabs to be exact, along with an ice-cold diet Pepsi.  She also took pleasure in watching her YouTube and playing Candy Crush on her tablet.

As we mourn the loss of our Eva Mae, let us also celebrate the joy and laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her. May her spirit live on in the memories of those who loved her, and may we find comfort in the humor she shared so freely. Eva Mae (Turner) Marrow will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
