Eva I. Allen

Eva I. Allen, age 95, of Henrico (Varina), VA. entered her heavenly home in peace on August 12, 2022, She was born October 2, 1926 in Charles City, Va. Eva was preceded in death by three beloved children, Crystal T.,  Kenneth L., and Benjamin D. Sr.; her parents, Samuel and Gracie Allen; brother, Ernest Allen; daughter-in-law, Lautusi Allen; and devoted son-in-love/caretaker, Robert A. Jones "Lil Rob".

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Daryl J. Allen and son, Ricardo S. Allen, Sr. (Marsha); eight grandchildren, one devoted, Jeanette L. Blake (Kirsha); 13 great-grandchildren, one devoted Hassan M. J. Rogers; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Melissa, Juphenia and Eileen; one brother, Clyde; one sister-in-law, Alice Allen; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA, with the family receiving friends from 5- 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2705 Hartman St., Richmond, VA, with Dr. Roscoe D. Cooper, III, officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
