Obituary

Donna R. D. McQueen was born to Ruth L. Durham and Clifton E. Durham Sr. on June 24, 1951 in New York City. She entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2023.

Donna attended private elementary school and went on to graduate from Bushwick High School in Brooklyn, NY. At the early age of 17, Donna accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and went on to become an activemember at Bibleway Church of Christ. Donna became a Sunday schoolteacher for the children's class and the well known Bishop Hezekiah Walker was one of her students. She sang in the Young Adult Choir for many years. Donna loved the Lord and the church was a big part of her life.

On April 6, 1974, Donna married Selwyn W. Lambkin and from that union Tysha L. Lambkin and Moneesha T. Lambkin were born.  Later in life, Donna married Robert McQueen and from that union Allien F. McQueen was born.

Donna entered the banking industry and eventually rose to Administration Assistant at Bankers Trust in New York. After relocating to Richmond, VA, she continued working in the banking industry at Wachovia Bank.  Donnas' prayers were answered when she found and joined New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Richmond, VA.

Many church friends and co-workers remember Donna for her bus trips to NY. These outings would allow one to shop, attend Broadway plays and sightsee. Donna will be remembered for her sweet spirit and giving heart.
