Dennis L. Price

Dennis Lamont Price of Henrico, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Laurels of University Park (Henrico).  He is the son of Larry Mitchell Price (Richmond) and his mother, Mary Henderson Price, who preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne L. Price. 

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Precious M. Thompson, David S. Price (Kelly), and Cody T. Price; sisters, Gwendolyn Price-Williams (Walter) of Richmond, and Donna C. Price (Chester), and Denise Newton (Georgia); brothers, Larry Price Jr. (Wendy) of Richmond, Brian Mungo (North Carolina); grandchildren, Jaylen Thompson, Kyler Thompson and Nyla Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. 

Dennis' love of music, cars and the road by way of an 18-wheeled Freightliner, his love of fishing and pool, filled his life along with his family.  Dennis, ever the comedian, always had a funny lilt to any story he told.  He was once asked to appear at amateur night at the Richmond Funny Bone – of course he chickened out! Dennis delighted in telling TALL TALES and giggling once the hearer of the story realizes it was a TALL TALE.  Please remember Dennis and the stories and music he's shared and thank God for his life well lived!  Truly a delightful person who will be missed – he's cracking them up in heaven!

A Celebration of a Life Well Lived for Dennis was held on July 21, 2024 at Tarrant's West Restaurant.
