Delores E. Roane

Delores E. Roane, 76 departed this life June 28, 2024.  She was predeceased by her parents Dea. John W. Roane and Rachel Winfree Roane, brothers Rev. John Roane and Rev. Floyd Roane.  She graduated from John M. Gandy High School and attended Va Union University. Delores was baptized at an early age at Rock Hill Baptist Church. During her youth and her active life, she served as a Junior Missionary, Sunday School member and Chairman of the Finance Committee.

When her health declined, she began attending Riverview Baptist church through the help of transportation arranged by her nephew Dea. Cornell Roane.  Surviving her are her loving son Ralph E. Roane, grandchildren Bilal, Nicole, and Jaymeka, sister, Dea. Nannie Davis (Henry), brothers Rev. David Roane (Deborah) Dea. Frank Roane (Janine) Linwood Roane (Sharon), sister-in-law Joann Roane, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends including friends at Guardian Place 1 & 2 Friendship Café.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA.
