Cheryl L. Wilson

Cheryl Lynette Wilson passed away on September 19, 2025. Cheryl was born April 7, 1979, daughter of Olivia Curry Wilson and Howard Wilson, granddaughter of Beryl and Annie Louise Curry, Grace Barrett/Williams and James Lithian Wilson great-granddaughter of Papa John and Milie Curry, James Archer Wilson, Mattie Wilson

She attended the special-needs school in Queens, New York, where she completed her high school diploma.

When Cheryl was born, she had cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She was told she wouldn't make it to see age 10, however, God had different plans.

Cheryl was a very happy, vibrant and lovable person even though daily activities were extremely hard for her to complete on her own, she would still push through.

Cheryl's needs caused her to have a caregiver her entire life,  her mother and father cared for her until her sister and family took over. Every morning Cheryl would greet you with a smile, knowing life had been a continuous challenge for her. May Cheryl's rose continues to bloom in our hearts, reminding us of her love, strength, and beauty Cheryl strength and dedication will live forever.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory a loving devoted caring sister, Marquita L. Wilson Ramsey, brother; Brian H. Wilson, brother-in-law, Fred Ramsey Jr, nephews, Shalik R. Mitchell and Ronald E. Williams III and niece, Sha'Dey L. Ramsey and a host of loving Uncles and Aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5004 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA.
