Charles Alexander Gray Moore

Charles (Bishop) Alexander Gray Moore entered peaceful rest on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was born in Richmond, Virginia on August 5, 1995, to Donna Marie Moore was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Lucille Moore and great grandmother Gladys Marie Gray, and his aunt Darlene Moore.

Charles spent his life in Richmond, Virginia. Charles attended Richmond Public Schools, Kingdom Preparatory Academy, and graduated from Henrico Public Schools at Highland Springs High School in their Technical Program in 2014. Charles went on to Stratford University to pursue his passion for cooking in the Culinary Arts Program. He currently was working for Bells Partners Inc where he enjoyed and surpassed his love for property management. Charles had an infectious smile that couldn’t be missed along with solemn bubbly personality. Charles grabbed the attention of many ministers, deacons, and pastors during his lifetime, which captivated everyone that came in his presence and obtained the name BISHOP. He had a strong love for music, specifically Gladys Knight & Whitney Houston. He loved spending time with his current coworkers. He also LOVED his dream car, MUSTANG, and along with that very particular about his fashion. We always knew CHARLES to look sharp and have the best when it comes to fashion. His presence will be missed by all, but his memories will last a lifetime.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Donna Marie Moore; brother, David Moore; sister, Helena Moore; 4 uncles, David Moore III, Daniel Moore (Tasha Moore), Matthew (Todd) Detwiler (Liezel Detwiler), and Derrick Moore (Dana Moore); 3 aunts, Genean Eatmon, Davida Moore-Curry, and Drachel Roberts. Devoted Godsister, Aiesha Eppes; 3 Devoted Best Friends, Miajhya Monroe, Imani Nunally and Raven (Hope) LeMay; and a host of cousins, family and friends.

Rest in Peace Charles! You will Truly be Missed and Continue to Watch Over Your Precious Mother.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5004 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025. 

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
