Charles E. Howard

Charles Howard was born on April 20, 1942 to the late Maria Johnson (Mother) and the late John Howard (Father). He had one older brother the late John Howard.

Charles Howard attended Armstrong High School. He was a staff sergeant in the army. He attended None shall be lost international ministries. He worked for VEC for many years and then became the assistant manager for the Veterans Employment and training service (The Dept of Labor). He was a Christian man and loved to sing gospel music with a group. He was a die hard “cowboys” fan and he loved to cook. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, a devoted nephew Assistant Pastor Elder Jonuel Howard, (cousin) Caroline Watson – (deceased) Richard Watson, cousin “Baby sis” Chloe Ellis – Husband John Ellis, Cousin Marvin Howard and two devoted friends Doris Jackson and “Pettie.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 in the W.J. Wilson Celebration of Life  - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

Military honors will follow the service.
