Bobby Peoples, Sr.

Bobby Peoples, Sr., age 71, passed away peacefully in the evening of November 12th after a short battle with Leukemia. He was surrounded by love at the time of his transitioning. Bobby was born in Reidsville, North Carolina to the late Leo and Lillie Mae Peoples.

Bobby accepted Christ at an early age. He was educated in Richmond Public Schools. Later, Bobby made the decision to enlist in the U.S. Air Force where he received an honorable discharge. Bobby later worked at Bristol Steele for several years. In his spare time Bobby enjoyed listening to music, watching western movies, and coloring. 

Bobby was preceded in death by siblings, Willie James, Cleveland, Roosevelt, Leo Jr., Maggie, Ora Lee, and Betty.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Theresa Peoples (Richard), and Brittany Alexander; sons, Sharmaine Davis (Tasha), Bobby Peoples Jr. (Tonya), and Korey Alexander; two sisters, Linda and Margaret; two brothers, Buster (Brenda) and Richard (Christine); nine grandsons and eleven granddaughters; six great granddaughters and six great grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends

A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA.
