Bishop Dr. Adeline F. Goode

Bishop Dr. Adeline Fields Goode was born on June 17, 1935, she departed this life on June 17, 2025.

Bishop Dr. Adeline F. Goode joined Little Mount Baptist Church of Brunswick County at the age of 11 in the year of 1946. Bishop Goode was joined in matrimony to the late Harold N. Goode of Union Level, Virginia. They had one son, Levi F. Fields.

Bishop Goode received teaching from several ministers, Elder Reynolds, Pastor Adkins, Elder Montgomery and The Elder Bessie Mcneil thus building a strong and solid foundation in the work of the Lord. She came across many trials and tribulations, but stayed very determined and steadfast and unmovable.

She attended Osburg Elementary and Mount Zion Elementary School. She furthered her education at John Tyler Community College in Chester, Virginia, majoring in Special English and certificates in sewing and upholstery. Dr. Goode also attended The Virginia Bible Institute in Chesterfield, County where she expanded her spiritual knowledge. Bishop was the Godmother of New Regeneration Intl. Ministries.

She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved and only son Levi F. Fields. Levi is married to the former Arnetha J. Doggette. They have two sons, Levi Christopher Fields (Angie) and Harold J. Fields (Michelle). Between the two grandsons, there are seven great-grandchildren, Gavin, Ethan, Atlyana, Austin, Abigail, Addison and Christina Fields; many great-nieces and nephews; two sisters, Agnes Fields-Winston of Richmond and Lonell Fields-Townsend also of Richmond, Virginia; nieces, Valencia Townsend, Elizabeth Burns, Loretta Elder, Maxine Pritchett and Valerie Johnson; two Goddaughters, Apostle Gail Tindall a very devoted Goddaughter for many years, Bishop Dr. Terese Walton.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m.  - 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA, where a Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025. 

Interment will follow at Maury Cemetery, Richmond, VA.
