Andrese Shante Hilliard, received her wings on Sunday August 4, 2024 to be with the Lord. She was born on May 21, 1978 at Richmond Memorial Hospital to Aaron Hilliard and Zona H. Mallory.
Andrese Develop Lambert Eaton Syndrome and Myasthenia Gravis, which affected her at the tender age of eight years old. She learned to cope with the condition and never complain, but with the help of the Lord and amazing doctors from Children's Hospital and VCU, Andreas was able to continue with her life, and joined Gilfield Baptist Church at age eleven.
Andrese was not only a woman of Christ, faith and family, She never looked back. Andrese stayed very positive all through life, willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Andrese love all types of music, we called her DJ half pint. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and coloring. She also kept busy while using her computer daily. Andrese never wanted to throw away her Jesus papers even as a little girl. She did her Daily Bible study every day.
In addition Andrese graduated from Charles City High School in 1997. She then relocated to Atlanta Georgia where she continued school at Kennesaw College, where she studied computer technology and receive a certificate of completion.
Andrese is preceded in death by her father, Aaron Hilliard, maternal grandparents Thelma Louise Quivers and Floyd W. Quivers Sr, Aunt Shirley M. Hughes, Stella L. Washington and Betty J. Quivers, aunt at heart, Jane J. Atkins and aunt, Mary Peterson.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted mother, Zona H. Mallory; sister, Monica Hilliard Davis (Felton Jr); along with her stuffed babies: Aaron Anope, Mock Gorilla, Charlie Raffey and Barack, which she called her children; one nephew, Felton Lebron Davis, III; one niece, Tayla Monet Davis (Tay- Tay); three aunts, Barbara Hockaday, Carolyn Godfrey, and Gloria Nebutt, all of Richmond, VA; four uncles, Floyd (Barbara) and Joey Quivers(Mary) of Charles City, Ricky (Sheila) and Cornell (Alicia) Quivers of Richmond, VA; one great aunt, Margaret Hampton of Richmond, VA; aunts at hearts, Clara, Jackson (John), Patricia Griggs (Samuel), Gwendolyn Crawley, Margaret Carey (Leroy), and Shelby Coleman; one devoted amazing cousin, Joyce Hampton, affectionately known as "Mon" of Charles City; and a host of cousins, friends and a Nancy Jackson (Godmother).
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Gilfield Baptist Church, 6640 Church Lane, Charles City, VA.
Interment will follow at Gilfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
