Alice R. Williams

Alice Roberta Williams, 80, of Richmond, VA departed this life on June 7, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carrie Williams; and three siblings: Delores Trent, Maurice Wright, and Dorothy Taylor.

Alice graduated from Armstrong High School, with a full scholarship to Bennett College in Greensboro, NC. After graduation, she worked for Richmond Department of Public Utilities, before transitioning to Atlanta, GA, where she retired from Southern Living Magazine. She also enjoyed traveling and collecting snow globes. 

In 2016, Alice relocated back to her hometown of Richmond, VA, where she passed. She will be truly missed and is survived by her sister, Carrie W. Crenshaw (James); nephews, Gilbert and Maurice Trent; Kevin Roland and devoted Kenneth Roland (Nichelle); best friend, Gail Light Cooper; and her goddaughter, Lora Bentley. 

 The family is receiving services of comfort from Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA.
