Aaron Charles Wheeler, Sr., born in Washington, D.C., to Dorothy E. Wheeler and Walter E. Fields, passed away on March 11, 2025 at the age of 70. He attended school in Washington, D.C., and later worked at Johnston Willis Hospital.
Aaron was a man who found peace in the little things — riding his bike, listening to old-school music, and washing his car were among his favorite activities. His family and friends will remember him for his warm heart, easygoing nature, and the joy he brought to those around him.
He leaves behind his beloved children, son, Javon Wheeler; and daughter Jenn’Asia Wheeler; as well as several grandchildren who were a source of pride and joy in his life. Aaron is also survived by his siblings, Melverna Wheeler, Alphonzo Wheeler, Charlene, Evelyn Lyles; and his nephew, Riley Sakin, III.
Aaron will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA, with a viewing held one hour prior to the service.
