Mr. Raymond M. Rivers, 57, of Richmond departed this life on June 8, 2011. He is survived by his mother, Carol Rivers-Perkins; brother, Preston Rivers; sister, Sylvia Lee; three aunts, Jean, Mildred, and devoted Joan Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends; among them, a devoted cousin, Alvin Hill. A viewing will be held from 12 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011, here at the funeral home, where a Celebration of Life service will also be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in the W. J. Wilson Celebration of Life Center. Interment will follow at the Historic Evergreen Cemetery.
